Note: Partners must opt into proxy and landing page support so the features are available.
Note: If you want to update your source URL, you must contact Support by using the Submit a request form.
A landing page is a templated website that uses the creative content (for example, logo, images, colors, and text) from an ad campaign and is hosted on a newly purchased domain.
Landing pages are used with leads-oriented campaigns. Leads are captured as form fills and phone calls in the campaign's performance report.
How landing pages work
If you've added a landing page as a campaign destination, when the campaign is launched iPromote automatically builds a landing page. The landing page is hosted on a specialized server.
When to use a landing page
Landing pages are recommended in two cases:
- A landing page is ideal for an advertiser who does not have a website or their existing website is of poor quality or lacking information.
- A landing page is a good alternative to a proxy if the advertiser is unable to use a proxy because of whitelisting or another issue.
If you're not sure if landing pages work for the advertiser, contact Support.
Landing page content
Landing pages are created automatically from existing campaign data. Items in a landing page correlate with items in other ads for the same campaign (and fields in Ad Builder).
This makes it easy for iPromote to automatically create landing pages since we already have the content, but this also ensures consistency across ads in the same campaign.
To specify a form data destination
When a customer visits a landing page and fills out a contact form, the information is sent to an email address you set up in Ad Builder.
To change page content
Note: End-users cannot test the replacement of call tracking numbers on their proxy or landing page without the Call Tracking Test URL.
To make changes to the content of landing pages, you must make edits to the campaign in iPromote. This is because all of the creative elements on the landing page are automatically pulled from the information saved in Ad Builder.
Logos, images, text, contact information, and destination URLs must all be updated in Ad Builder, then we rebuild your landing page. Just as with any creative updates in iPromote, there will be a brief delay in ad serving while our auditors review your changes.
