Note: To be effective, national campaigns should aim for at least 1 million impressions per month.
After you target an audience, set up your campaign's budget. To do so, select a package or specify per-channel budgets, then set that campaign's start and stop dates.
Choose a package
Note: Package schemes vary by partner. Packages can be fixed, dynamic, or both combined. See the docs below that apply to your user interface.
Packages provide a reasonable idea of what an advertiser gets for their money when they commit to a campaign. Advertisers specify the amount they want to spend and the duration of a campaign. These items help iPromote optimize ad serving.
Fixed option
- On the Budget page, locate the Please select a package area.
- Review the fixed-package options and click one.
- Set campaign Start and Stop dates. If you want a campaign to recur indefinitely, do not enter a Stop value. Ads serve for all active channels throughout this period.
- When you are happy with your budget settings, click Next.
Dynamic option
- On the Budget page, locate the Please select a package area.
- Review the Dynamic Budget options and click one.
- Enter the amount you want your campaign spend to be. Impression estimates update accordingly.
- Set campaign Start and Stop dates. If you want a campaign to recur indefinitely, do not enter a Stop value. Ads serve for all active channels throughout this period.

Channel option
Note: Search and social impressions are not included in the Total Impressions estimate.
- On the Budget page, locate the How would you like to set your budget? area.
- Review the Budget fields and assign a dollar amount to each channel shown. The dollar amount is what you commit to spending. Based on those per-channel amounts, iPromote estimates the total number of impressions your campaign gets.
- Select a Budget Type option from the following options:
- Lifetime Start & End: Budget will be evenly allocated throughout the start and stop date. This budget type is recommended for campaigns with a fixed flight.
- Recurring 30-day Billing Cycle: Budget will be evenly allocated on a recurring 30-day cycle from the selected start date. This budget type is recommended for evergreen campaigns launched mid-month or campaigns that are billed every 30 days.
- Recurring Calendar Monthly: Budget will be evenly allocated throughout the remainder of the month in which it starts and on a monthly basis thereafter. This budget type is recommended for evergreen campaigns launched at the beginning of a month or campaigns billed per calendar month.
- Set campaign Start and Stop dates. Ads serve for all active channels throughout this period.
