Once a client is created, you must manage the client. Management includes contacting the client about future opportunities, and managing existing opportunities and campaigns associated with that client.
Clients belonging to a consultant account are on the Clients page of that account. The Client List enables a consultant to view, filter, and sort all of their client accounts by attribute.
Search for a client
Search tools on the Clients page help you find what you're looking for. You can search by client keyword, and filter by status and date created.
- Log in to the applicable reseller account.
- Click the Clients tab, then use the Client List search tools to locate a client.
- When you find what you need, just click the client in the Client List to see its details.
You can also sort Client List columns by clicking the column headings Created, Campaigns, and Opportunities.
Create a new client
Before creating an opportunity (and campaign), you must create a client. Opportunities and campaigns are always associated with a client to whom they belong. If you want to create an opportunity for an existing client, just go to the client first and create a new opportunity from there.
- Log in to the applicable account.
- Click the Clients tab, then click New Client.
- In the New Client box, fill out as much client information as you can. Use the Reference ID field to enter an ID that makes sense to your organization. If the client has an existing record within your CRM, then use the same ID here. Leave the field empty to auto-generate a reference ID.
- Click Save when you are done.
Edit a client
Client records can be edited after they are created.
- Log in to the applicable reseller account.
- Click the Clients tab, then use the Client List search tools to locate a client.
- Click the applicable client in the resulting list.
- Edit the client record to suit your needs.
- When you are done, click Save.
Delete a client
Client records can be deleted after they are created. For example, you might need to delete a client record if the client never agreed to start a campaign.
- Log in to the applicable reseller account.
- Click the Clients tab, then use the Client List search tools to locate a client.
- Click the applicable client in the resulting list.
- Go to the bottom of the client Overview page and click Delete Client.
